surly not to help the whole of mankind.

We may be fanatics but we are surely not religious so take that right wing theory and log it firmly up your worn and distended anus. Nothing worse than people assuming they know anything about you.

Damn it is fun getting people all pissed off but it serves no purpose in the long run and only makes more negative energy.

FYI, I noticed someone post that in another forum here and thought it might work in this context as well. ;)

Hmm.. I don't know, but when are we going to be able to access the search results in the Internet Archive again? I am trying to pull some old docs from my old site.

OK thanks! I get it now, so you're really realigious and run a company, or I am rich and suddenly following organized religion or is Brewster really a minister and this is really not non profit? Are we on the same side and if so, who are we fighting? The Pontifical North American College? Are we creating another schizm? Please speak in moderate fiscal conservative speak so us northeasterners will understand what the hell you are talking about. I was accused of stalking liberal female academics by calling them vikings on mushrooms so I think I am ready to battle whomever we are fighting, unless we are fighting eachother, in that case I probably won't understand your attacks on me.

I am the neocon? Now I have heard everything! Thanks for the laugh! I think organized religion is the root of all evil and voted for Guliani and before that Ross Perot! Always assuming things will get you even less than using cryptic babbling doublespeak and that is what I gobbledy gooped onto you in return. So you think brewster is a neocon? I thought he was a left wing conspiracist so maybe we are both drinking too much cough syrup. My family where poor white immigrants and native americans, I like to pay less taxes and shoot a gun responsively and hunt for psychadelic mushrooms in cow pasture without the interfernece of church or government in my personal life and I am the neocon? That is scary and you need help.

I am confused!!!!! No sound!!!! They certainly do have sound. Porn is sexual, be it two people, a group or even solo sex (masturbation). Women stripping off to show their bodies is not pornographic. None of the films are vulgar and some are purely historic. I have very carefully selected films that will offend nobody. My interest is in vintage material and in particular stills and movies of females before 1970. Women then were completely natural and that aspect makes them for me and many others far more attractive than the painted dolls of today with their boob jobs etc. I have a huge collection of Victorian working women, all fully clothed. Housemaids, milkmaids, coffee house girls, pit brow girls etc etc. I love women and especially those from long ago, the pretty ones and the plain it doesnt matter. Waylon

Speaking of sound, then, at least some of the footage you have uploaded appears to have modern soundtrack music added. What is the rights status of the soundtracks?

Att Diana Hamilton - Another point I meant to make was people submit films, either their own or taken from another source and put them on YouTube. They also add music of their own choice to make the clip more interesting to watch. I think what I do, and others do, with vintage film is no different but if anyone complains I will apologize and stop doing it.

Personally, I wouldn't go by what the general Youtube user is doing as a best-practices guideline. Here is an entertaining look about what you *can* do with other people's media:

Sadly my media player wont play it. I like a lot of what is put on Youtube. Boxing, funny stuff and of course anything vintage. There is some bad stuff but I try to avoid it. If I find things I think others may be interested in I share it with them. As for using other peoples media, if its public domain then nobody has an absolute claim to ownership and it can therefore be shared with others for them to enjoy. By the way have you seen my post on Horatio Nelson. If you are as clever as I think you are, you may just understand the connection. Just a bit of fun.

I dont use modern music so these film and soundtracks are the work of others. I use the old sixties music and stuff thats even older if I want to change music or add to a film that is silent. As I am not doing this for profit, just for fun, I dont think I am in breach of any copywrite. I like to collect all this vintage stuff then I edit, clean up, mask or add music whatever to make it look and sound better. You could say its a time killer for a retired old man.
